If he charges up a purple beam, he will dash across the screen twice with it extended. He will also often fire out two energy waves that will fly at X on an angle. He'll then come slamming down into the ground to try and crush X.
He will often roar at X and then jump up above him.
Slash Beast will use fast attacks during this battle so you will have to be quick. Once you defeat him you'll receive the Ground Hunter. He'll then hover down in the same position, so just repeat the process to destroy him. He'll freeze for a few seconds and then will break out of the ice and fly back up the screen. As he floats down from the sky, jump up and activate the weapon. If he flies down into the water, he will fire out stingrays and will begin to suck X in towards him. He will also sometimes perform a dive attack that can cause heavy damage. Use a charged shot to destroy them before they hit you. He will hover above the water and will fire out several small stingrays that will crawl along the ground. You'll have to defeat him twice while you're on the jet bike before fighting him. Jet Stingray will use strong attacks, so it will come in handy if you have energy tanks filled. Once you defeat him you'll receive the Frost Tower. Use charged shots and jump over him whenever he slides across the floor, or walk up to him and hit him with the Rising Fire. To defeat him, use the X-Buster or the Rising Fire. He will also use a freeze attack and a variation of the ice spike attack. He will also sometimes fire out large ice spikes that will fly down from above and land in the ground. Jump off the wall just before he hits it. Whenever he punches his chest a few times, jump up the wall as he'll then jump down and slide along the ground. X's Bossesįrost Walrus will take up a lot of space in the large room.

X's Bosses will include the boss' attack patterns as well as how to defeat them, but Zero's will just have the method of defeating them. Each list has the bosses organized in an order which allows you to be able to use the correct special weapon or technique to defeat them with. I had just hoped there might be something I could tweak or a log I could look at somewhere to help which is why I posted here.There are two listings of the bosses here, one for X and one for Zero. It's just a shame, as I thought the 1070ti was at least a mid-end card, but it seems it is not. I suspect it's like the moderator said that my graphics card is marginal and the change to enterprise was just too much for it.

I wiped the partitions and installed windows 7 enterprise, along with the latest nvidia drivers etc. The thing is, X4 used to work when I had windows 7 "pro" installed before. It may show more after a CTD, but when I reviewed them before for the time period I didn't see anything related. It only has normal system information level event logs. There is nothing there related to graphics, or x4. So for the sake of argument, this time I cleared the event logs, ran X4 and then killed the process 10 minutes later and then re-reviewed the event logs. Regarding the CTD, it takes a very long time to crash (hours) and I didn't want to repeat that again to double check. It is a desktop and the nvidia control panel also shows only 1 gpu in the system.
